Vulgata is an experimental animated short film that alternates between collage and silhouette sequences. The collages revolve critically around topics of the Catholic Church, including gender, sexuality, abuse, menstruation, taboos, and many more. Whereas, the silhouettes show a reinterpretation of the biblical figure Lilith interacting with Adam and Eve.
Besides doing the project management for Vulgata, my tasks involved animating some parts of the collages, which were assembled from found footage in Adobe After Effects in a 3D space. Additionally, I was responsible for the overall sound design, which also reflects the experimental and eerie vibe of the composition.

Overload is an animation group-project made during the Hybrid Animation class within the Digital Arts Bachelor course at the FH Hagenberg. The animation circles around the topic of overstimulation, viewed from various student perspectives and adapted with different hybrid animation techniques. The animation bit made by me and two fellow students revolves around beauty standards - especially in the context of social media - and its big impact on consumers.
During the production of Overload, my tasks consisted of animating the handcrafted objects with my team in Dragonframe, as well as doing the post-production afterward. This involved assembling the photos into clips, adjusting the framing, and doing color correction.

Skrothög was created as a movie trailer for an imaginary film, which in this case revolves around a robot who is getting constructed and assembled. All the small parts shown during the production process in the animation come together in the assembly in the end, where the robot gets its form.
The animation was fully created by me, including the soundtrack, as well as all the hand drawn assets. The use of sound bits and synths in the background music resemble machinery and reinforce the construction of the robot parts. All the 2D assets were drawn in Photoshop and afterward animated in After Effects.

Make Art not War is a collective 3D animation project by the Digital Arts Bachelor class at the FH Hagenberg. During this experiment, every student made a short 3D animation circling around the topic of making art instead of war. My contribution features a scene showing a slender man hanging from an assault rifle attached by marionette strings. The floor shows a pool of acrylic paint, moving in slight waves.
Within this project, my focus was on layout and positioning the assets in the 3D room to form an interesting and thought-provoking scene. Additionally, it was important to use animation to emphasize the topic and the assets.

Horsing Around is a short stop-motion animation that was made during the Anima Plus Animation Jam in 2025 under the topic 'What's still real?'. The animation revolves around the character Fridolin, who is more overwhelmed by chores, bills, and his life every day. His only escape is his love for horses. The story seems very absurd, leaving room for interpretation on the viewers side.
During the process of making the animation, me and the other three artists handcrafted the character and the set from various fabric scraps and weird materials. During the filming, my tasks involved lighting the sets, as well as animating and positioning the character.

Cloudstreet 7 is a short animation film that was made by a team of 4 artists during the FH Hagenberg Animation Jam in 2022 under the topic 'Auf Wolke 7' (On Cloud 9). The animation goes from room to room, each telling a short story revolving around different views about love and affection. The scenes range from self-love, loving friends, relationships, and obsession.
I animated scene one and three - one showing a party scene and the other an intimate moment between lovers. The frames were drawn and animated in Krita.

This informative animation was commissioned by the Austrian University Representation (ÖH - Österreichische Hochschüler*innenschaft). The project should provide students a short overview about their tasks and offers, as well as participating in the upcoming elections. It was important to keep the drawings friendly and inviting so that students feel welcome.
My tasks involved making a storyboard for the animation, that could later be used as a template for the animators.
